Parenting Skills Program

UFC's Parenting Skills Program provides 8 week sessions to male and female participants on skills needed to improve decision making and parenting techniques to children.

Our parenting education classes include:

• Pre and post test Parenting needs assessment
• Child and teen development
• Nutrition and health
• Safety Stress & time management/establishing parenting support network
• Discipline

Target Population

• Men and women
• 15 or older
• Pregnant and/or parenting teens and adults
• All socio-economic backgrounds

Goals and Objectives

• to promote healthy parent/child interaction
• to provide parenting education for pregnant and/or parenting teens and adults
• to reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect

Fees: $60 (non-refundable) for 8 week class

*classes are free to clients already enrolled in UFC programs

Classes are held weekly Monday Evenings from  5:00pm-6:00pm
